ON THE STRUCTURAL REORGANIZATION OF THE NATIONAL TREASURY

Ministry of Economy and Finances,

Pursuant to the request of the National Treasury Chief;

It is hereby decided:

Article 1:

The organizational structure of the National Treasury shall be as follows:

 

Article 2: The Secretariat of the National Treasury Chief

At the Secretariat of the National Treasury there shall be the following officials:

The First Deputy of the National Treasury shall be responsible for managing the expenditures and administrative affairs and act as interim chief in the event of the absence of the National Treasury Chief. Other deputies shall be responsible for technical affairs and treasuries inspections.

The ranks, functions, roles and responsibilities, and the jurisdictions shall be determined in separate Declarations.

Article 3: Central Offices

The National Treasury shall be divided into 7 central offices each consisting of one or more sections:

The functions of the Treasury Office are as follows:

The Department Chief of the Treasury Office shall be responsible for checking the validity of all fund and expenditures.

The management of fund in the Treasury Office shall be determined in a separate Declaration.

2. Accounting office:

The Accounting Office shall have the following 3 sections:

The Administrative and Personnel Office shall have the following 3 sections:

4. Disbursement Office

The Disbursement Office shall have the following 2 sections:

The Deposit Office shall have the following 3 sections:

6. State Revenue Office

The State Revenue Office shall have the following 2 sections.

7. National Lottery Office.

The National Lottery Office shall have the following 2 Sections.

Article 4:

The management of the National Treasury mentioned in the Circular No 057 dated February 13,1991 along with Sub-Decree No 24 dated September 20, 1990 of the Council of the Ministers on the Functioning of the Ministry of Finances shall be annulled.

Article 5:

The Department Chief, the Department General Chief, staffs, the Chief of the National Treasury, the Chiefs of provincial and municipal treasuries, and the Chiefs of other relevant units shall implement this Declaration from the date of its signature.

Article 6:

This Declaration shall be effective from January 1, 1994 onwards.
