In order to facilitate the implementation of that Banking System and to have a clear base for each length of any base and maintenance period and date of reports submitted. the National Bank of Cambodia (herein after referred to as the Central Bank ) issues this annex circular attached to the regulation on the maintenance of required reserves against deposits and other borrowings by a Financial Institution : NBC 793 - 282 R2 dated December 30, 1993 and has the following meaning : The base periods and maintenance periods shall be each twenty eight days in length . The first base period shall commence on Friday December 30, 1994 and the first maintenance period shall commence on Friday January 27, 1995. The Commercial Bank shall deliver the first required reserve report by Thursday March 2, 1995. The Central Bank reserves the right to change the due date for any required reserve report and or change the length of the reserve accounting periods (the base and maintenance periods). The Central Bank shall give 30 days notice in advance of any changes in the length of the reserve accounting periods or in the reporting due date.
