ON THE APPOINTMENT OF THE ADVISERS TO THE GOVERNMENT

Preahbath Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk Reach Harivong Uphato Suchea Visothipong Akamohaborasrat Nikarodom Thammik Mohareacheathireach Boromaneat Boromabopit Preah Chau Krong Cambodia Thipdey,

having seen the 1993 Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia;

having seen the results of the Legislative Election on July 26, 1998;

having seen Kret NS-RKT-l 198-069 dated November 25, 1998 on the designation of the Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia;

having seen Kret NS-RKT-1198-072 dated November 30, 1998 on the nomination of the Royal Government;

having seen Kram NS-RKM-0794-002 dated July 20, 1994 on the organization and functioning of the Council of Ministers;

upon the proposal of the Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia;

order:

Article 1:

The people whose names follow are named Advisers of the Royal Government:

H.E. Ieng Mouly, Adviser to the Government with the rank of Minister, responsible for Mine Clearance,
H.E. Its Kunthor, Adviser to the Government with the rank of Minister, responsible for Economy and Agriculture,
H.E. Chhim Om Yon, Adviser to the Government with the rank of Minister, responsible for National Defense,
H.E. Pen Thol, Adviser to the Government with the rank of Minister, responsible for Policy and Foreign Affairs,
H.E. Dy Narongrith, Adviser to the Government with the rank of Minister, responsible for Policy in the fight against AIDS,
H.E. Var Kim Hong, Adviser to the Government with the rank of Secretary of State, responsible for Border Affairs,
H.E. Ouk Phouri, Adviser to the Government with the rank of Secretary of State, responsible for Finance.

Article 2:

The Prime Minister of the Royal Government shall be responsible for the implementation of this Kret.

Article 3:

This Kret shall be effective as of the date of its signature.
