Preahbath Samdech Preah Norodom Sihanouk Reach Harivong Uphato Suchea Visothipong Akamohaborasrat Nikarodom Thainmik Mohareacheathireach Boromaneat Boromabopit Preah Chan Krong Cambodia Thipdey,

• having seen the 1993 Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia;
• having seen the results of the Legislative Election on July 26, 1998;
• having seen the results of the 1st Session of the Second Legislature of the National Assembly on November 25, 1998 naming the President, the 1st Vice-President and the 2nd Vice-President of the Assembly;
• having seen the official report of the meeting on November 25, 1998 between the President, the 1st Vice-President and the 2nd Vice-President of the Assembly;

upon the proposal of the President of the National Assembly dated November 25, 1998;

order:

 Article 1:

 Samdech Hun Sen is designated Prime Minister of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

 Article 2:

 The Prime Minister of the Royal Government is empowered to form the Royal Government of Cambodia in order to request the further confidence of the National Assembly.

 Article 3:

 This Kret shall be effective as of the date of its signature.
