ANUKRET DATED JANUARY 30, 1996

ON THE DURATION OF THE WORKWEEK OF CIVIL SERVANTS OF THE KINGDOM OF CAMBODIA

 The Royal Government,

upon proposal of the Secretary of State of the Civil Service;

decides:

 

Article 1:

Civil servants of the Kingdom of Cambodia shall work 5 days by week and shall benefit from a weekly leave of 2 days on Saturday and Sunday.

 Article 2:

Civil servants of the Kingdom of Cambodia shall undertake their service during the period of work mentioned in Article 1 of this Anukret and shall work 8 hours per day according to the following provisions:

the morning: 7 am to 11:30 am

the afternoon: 2 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.

Article 3:

The duration of the workweek for teachers, masters of school and the teaching personnel of schools shall be established by a distinct anukret.

Article 4:

The calendar of annual leave for civil servants shall be established by anukret, circular and other acts of the Royal Government of Cambodia.

Article 5:

All provisions contrary to this Anukret shall be considered as abrogated.

Article 6:

The Co-Ministers in charge of the Council of Ministers, Ministers, Secretaries of State, Chiefs of State Institutions, Delegates of the Government and Governors of Khet/Krung shall enforce this Anukret from the date of its signature.
