ANUKRET dated 27 Oct.1999 on

• Seen the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia of 1993,
• Seen Kret NS/RKT/1198/72 dated November 30, 1998 regarding the appointment of the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia,
• Seen Reach Kram 02/NS/RKM/94 dated July 20, 1994, promulgating the law on the organization and functioning of the Council of Ministers
• Further to the need of the Royal Government

The entity against the Corruption Activities shall be referred to as "E.A.C.A" under the supervision of the Council of Administrative Reform.

The composition of the Entity Against the Corruption Activities is as follows:

- H.E. Sum Manith, Secretary General of the Council of Administrative Reform ………… Chairman

- H.E. Sean Visoth, Advisor to the National Authority Against Drugs ………………. Standing member

- H.E. Mol Roeub, Advisor to Samdech Prime Minister …………………………………… Member

- H.E. You Sun Long, Advisor to Samdech Prime Minister ……………………………….. Member

- H.E. Sao Sokha, Commander of national military police …………………………………. Member

- H.E. Kang Nem, Under-Secretary of State, Ministry of Relations with the National Assembly, Senate and Inspection ……………………………………………………………………………………. Member

- Mr. Mam Nich, Director of Department of Inspection, Economy and Finance Ministry….. Member

- Mr. Pal Chandara, office of the government attorney ……………………………………… Member

- Mr. You Ottara, Head of division, Ministry of Justice ……………………………………… Member

The entity against the Corruption Activities has the following roles:

• to study, research, report and submit the proposal to the Royal Government regarding the measures to eliminate the corruption;
• to monitor, cooperate, and take action over all activities associated with the corruption;
• to organize workshops and dissemination meetings to further increase the public attention on the good governance in particular the struggle against corruption; and
• to organize human resource training to strengthen the action against the corruption.

The Council of Ministers, Ministry of Economy and Finance, Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of the Relations with the National Assembly, Senate and Inspection, Ministry of Justice, relevant Ministries/institutions and the interested persons as provided for in Article 2 shall effectively apply this Anukret from the date of signature herein.
