the Organization and Functioning of a Committee of Ranking
Promotion for Military Officer and Career Deputy Officer
The co-Ministers of Defense
HEREBY DECLARE
Article 1
The promotion for the military officer rank and career deputy officer below this rank of the three armed forces shall comply with chapter 4, articles 30, 31, 32, and 36 of the General Military Statute of the Royal Armed Force and shall function under normal and special conditions.

The promotion of the military officer and career deputy officer under the normal conditions shall be made after it was reviewed by the ranking committee.
Article 2
The composition of the promotion committee of the three armed forces shall include:

Article 3
The promotion committee is obligated to call for an annual meeting of its members on the specified date.
The department of personnel is obligated to instruct, manage, and collect files requesting for the promotion of military officer, and career deputy officer of the three armed forces from various military units and institutions under the Royal Armed Force, including:
1/ The promotion application of military officer and career deputy officer by a unit and each category of armed force.
2/ The table of seniority records of the military officer and career deputy officer as of the year of promotion which is annually prepared by each unit, based on type of weapon, skills, and type of each armed force.
These files shall be sent to the department of personnel in early of September of each year for conclusion and report to the promotion committee for review and approval.
Article 4
The cabinet of the Ministry of Defense, cabinet of the Chief ofGeneral Staff, all units under the Royal Armed Force shall be accountable for the enforcement of this Prakas form the date of signature herein.
