The Royal Government

• Having seen the Constitution of the Kingdom of Cambodia;
• Having seen the Kret of His majesty the King of Cambodia Samdech Preach Norodom Sihanouk Varman dated November 01, 1993 on the Appointment of the Royal Government;
• Having seen the Kret No.93 dated October 24,1994 on the Reorganization of the Composition of the Royal Government of Cambodia;
• Having seen the Law on the Organisation and Functioning of the Council of Ministers promulgated by the Kram No.02/94 dated July 20, 1994;

At the request of "ESCAP National Committee"; and

Pursuant to the needs of the Ministry of Public Works and Transports.

It is Hereby Decided

Article 1:

To establish a Commission called "Socio-Economic National Commission for Asia and the Pacific (ESCAP)"

Article 2:

The Commission shall have the following composition:

1. A representative of the Ministry of Public Work and Transports Chairman
2. A representative of the Council for Development of Cambodia member
3. A representative of the Ministry of tourism member
4. A representative of the Ministry of Industry, Mines and Energy member
5. A representative of the Ministry of Environment member
6. A representative of the Ministry of Planning member
7. A representative of the Ministry of Economy and Finance member
8. A representative of the Ministry of Commerce member
9. A representative of the Ministry of Post and Communication member
10. A representative of ESCAP of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Bangkok, Thailand. member

Article 3:

The Socio-Economic National Commission for Asia and the Pacific shall have the duty to coordinate all of relevant ministries in gathering ideas and opinions, making the necessary suggestions to the development and rehabilitation of infrastructure in the Kingdom of Cambodia and in monitoring the progress and activities of this Commission.

Article 4:

The Co-Ministers of the Office of the Council of Ministers and ministers of all ministries, the head of relevant authorities shall implement this Anukret from the date of its signatures.
