the Creation of Agricultural Water Policy Day

- Having seen the Constitution of the ;

- Having seen Reach Kret No. NS/RKT/1198/72 of November 30, 1998 regarding the establishment of the Royal Government of Cambodia;

- Having seen Reach Kram No. 02/NS/94 of July 20, 1994, promulgating the Law on the Organization and Functioning of the Council of Ministers;

- Having seen Reach Kram No. NS/RKM/0699/08 of June 23, 1999, promulgating the Law on the Establishment of the Ministry of Water Resource and Meteorology;

- Having seen Anukret 58/RKT/BK of June 30, 1999 on the Organization and Functioning of the Ministry of Water Resource and Meteorology;

- Pursuant to the proposal of the Ministry of Water Resource and Meteorology;

HEREBY DECIDES

Article 1:

To create a popular day in which the citizens may voluntarily participate in the hydrology activities known as "Agricultural Water Policy Day" which shall be held on the 4^th of March of every year.

Article 2:

The purpose of this Day is to activate all adult citizens who may voluntarily participate in water policy for the promotion of agricultural activities and the living standard of citizens.

Article 3:

The Ministry of Interior shall instruct the provincial or municipal governor to identify a location for the construction site and appeal for citizen participation as well as preparation of equipment or materials enabling this Day to be politically and economically efficient.

Article 4:

The Ministry of Water Resources and Meteorology shall be obligated to provide technical instruction and cooperate with provincial or municipal authorities for implementation.

Article 5:

Anukret No. 10/ANK of February 28, 1994 on the creation of the agricultural water day and provisions that are contrary to this Anukret shall be deemed abrogated.

Article 6:

The Minister in charge of the Council of Ministers, Minister of Water Resources and Meteorology and Ministers and Secretary of State of all relevant ministries/institutions and provinces or municipalities shall implement this Anukret from the date of signature herein.
