1. New Offer - Premier Plan

BigPond has just introduced a new plan called - Premier Plan.
The plan is specifically designed for customers, who use more than 200 hours per month. Typical savings are between 7% and 20%.

Premier Plan package details are:
Monthly fee of $480
200 hours free
Additional hours will cost only $1.90 per hour.
Deposit of $500

2. May Monthly special - BigPond Off Peak

BigPond is pleased to announce the introduction of an Off-peak service for the month of May. Off-peak gives you a 30% reduction between the hours of 10:00pm and 6:00am. You don't have to do anything to join, simply be "online" with BigPond between the hours of 10:00pm and 6:00am to get the reduction.

3. Siem Reap payment office.

As you may already know BigPond has introduced a dial-in server in Siem Reap, which provides full internet and email services, the access number is 063 964700.
BigPond is also pleased to announce the introduction of our Siem Reap payment office, where you can make your account payments and even sign up. The office is located at #147b, Sivatha Street Siem Reap

4.Siem Reap Camintel Phone charges

BigPond is receiving many complaints from customers about the high cost of phone calls to BigPond Siem Reap node from Camintel Siem Reap fixed phone line customers. Camintel's pricing schedule lists Siem Reap local calls as 2c/minute, however we have reports that customer's are being charged 5c/minute for local calls to BigPond in Siem Reap. Call charges to the BigPond Siem Reap node are levied purely at the discretion of the Camintel company. Any concerns or queries about call charges should be directed to Camintel.

Note: BigPond does not have any special charging arrangements for calls to the Siem Reap node with the Camintel company.

5. Offer New IE 5.5 upgrading

If you would like to upgrade your web browser to the latest MS Internet Explorer, please collect a copy of the BigPond IE5.5 CD from our office.

6. Password Protection

There continues to be a growing number of cases of fraudulent use of Internet accounts in Phnom Penh. Sometimes customer passwords are passed on in good faith, in other cases the password has been extracted from the user's computer or via special software programs installed in some WEB café computers. We suggest the following simple precautions to reduce the likelyhood of your account being frauded:

Do not tell anybody your password.
Change your password regularly using BigPond's online account management page.
Choose passwords that are difficult to guess, include letters and numbers.

Change your password immediately following any of these events:

If ANYONE has had unsupervised access to your computer, this includes ANY computer technicians.
After accessing your BigPond account from web café's in Phnom Penh.
At your request, you have given BigPond support engineers your password to download or to delete messages for you.

Note that BigPond office provides private, secure facilities at the office for customers to change their password or you can change on line, if you prefer. Why not make it a regular practice to change your password every time you come to the office to pay your account.

Your account can only be accessed using your username and password and are responsible for all charges associated with this access.
