Those of you who changed the Proxy server settings on their browsers recently when we were experiencing problems with one of our computers should now return the settings to enable proxy access through proxy.bigpond.com.kh

We have introduced two newsgroups for BigPond members. We hope you find them useful and if you have a particular need for other groups for discussion of topics relevant to BigPond members please let us know. We have found http://www.ezconnect.com to be a clearly laid out categorised directory without all of the heavy graphics that some of the other directories include. This makes for quicker browsing.

News sites are perhaps the most popular of all. At http://gallery.uunet.be/internetpress/index.htm there is a very comprehensive index of such resources.
Email Mailing Lists
If you have a question you really want answered, forget the web! E-mail mailing lists can put you in touch with experts in almost any field. There are lists dedicated to subjects from parenting to paleontology. You can find many of them at liszt.com. But take care to observe mailing-list etiquette. http://www.liszt.com/

Tidying Up your Email Folders - Most Microsoft email programs require a little bit of maintenance to stop the message store from becoming very large.

* In Internet Mail and news select the File -> Folder -> Compact - > All Folders option to get rid of wasted space.
* If you use MS Inbox or Outlook choose Tools, Services and then the Personal Folders item. Then click the Compress button.
* In Outlook Express select File -> Folder -> Compact All Folders
