WELCOME TO THE EMBASSY OF JAPAN!
Thank you for visiting our website. On behalf of the whole Embassy staff, I would like to extend my hearty welcome to you to our Embassy!
The mission of our Embassy in the Kingdom of Cambodia is to strengthen the bonds of friendship that fortunately have existed between our two nations for centuries. My staff and myself will do whatever may serve that purpose.
Japanese Government participated actively in the international efforts to establish peace in Cambodia during the late 1980's through early 90's. Now that peace has been established and stability improved, Japan's efforts are focused on assisting the people and the Royal Government of Cambodia in reconstructing their country. The activities of this Embassy reflect this situation and our major task consists of administering a wide range of economic and cultural cooperation with a view to enhancing development in this country and strengthening mutual understanding and friendship between our two countries.
Thus our website will show, among others, Japan's various aid efforts and cultural cooperation in Cambodia, programs of exchanges of people and other events and activities of our Embassy. This website has also many useful linkages which will lead you to interesting information sources in Japan. I sincerely hope that clicking our pages, you can get a glimpse at our activities, facts about Japan and what's happening in Japan.
Thank you very much again for your interest in Japan. We wish to improve the quality of our website and would like to request your valuable opinions and comments regarding the contents of our pages.
