The First KUSANONE Grant Assistance has been extended to the Pailin City

Director of Health Department of Pailin City
The Government of Japan has decided to provide, in the first time, a total amount of US$ 31,217 to assist the Pailin City Health Department to construct a health center in Pailin Referral Hospital in the Pailin City, "The SUONKOMA Health Center".
The project will enable the City Health Department to offer the service of Minimum Package of Activities (MPA) to people in O Tavao and Pailin districts. Approximately 10,400 local residents living in these two districts will benefit from the project.
At the signing ceremony for the projecta on September 6, 2002 at the Embassy of Japan, Mr. SENG Ran, Director of Health Department of the Pailin City said that "Thank you with all of my heart! Thank you on behalf of the people of Pailin, children and adults alike. Most of all, I would like to express our sincere thanks to the Embassy of Japan in the Kingdom of Cambodia for its approval of KUSANONE grant assistance to the Pailin City."
"KUSANONE" grant assistance (signed today) is the first donation of its kind given to Pailin City. We, the people of Pailin, feel extremely proud that this donation comes from Japan to us, even geographically our two countries are far from each other."
